• Session Date & Location Selection - Please specify one 3-day Session (All sessions are scheduled either Monday thru Wednesday, Tuesday thru Thursday, or Wednesday thru Friday - determined by the host location. First two days are 8am-5:30pm and third day is 8am-noon. Please check dates carefully prior to registering). Cost is $475.00 We will need multiple drinking volunteers on day one and day two. Please let us know if you can volunteer to drink and which day. By registering for this class, you are reserving a seat at the full registration cost. Failure to attend or failure to notify Fondren Forensics in writing within 5 days of the start of this class will cause you to forfeit the full registration cost. Cancellations must be received in writing (through email) prior to five days before the beginning of class.

Fondren Forensics Inc. offers a 20-hour State Approved Breath Test Operator School. This class is open to law enforcement across the state of Texas. In addition to receiving state certification as a breath test operator, students who successfully complete this course of instruction may be eligible to receive TCOLE credit.

Please register online using the link above. It is the responsibility of the student to obtain the required approval from their Technical Supervisor prior to attending class. You may contact us for information on how to obtain this approval.

All classes are conducted either Monday through Wednesday, Tuesday through Thursday or Wednesday through Friday.  Please check the specific class and location to determine which three days your class is being offered. Tuition is $475.00 and is payable to Fondren Forensics. This includes all course materials, study guides,  and operator manual.  Your agency will be invoiced for this class.  If you are paying on your own, this payment is due at time of registration.

If for any reason enrollment is less than our minimum requirement, then the class will not be held and you will automatically be placed in the next available class.

If you need to cancel your registration, you must do it no later than one week before the class. No Shows and cancelations less than one week before the class will still be responsible for the full tuition cost.

Fondren Forensics utilizes instructors with different backgrounds, including chemists, private business owners, and technical supervisors. The information students receive in this class follows the guidelines set forth by the Texas Breath Alcohol Testing Regulations, in accordance with operating a school of initial instruction.
